PREAMBLE

These general conditions of sale are agreed between THE VINTAGE OLD GARMENTS CLOSET, UNIPESSOAL LDA, with registered office in Alcochete, Portugal, tax identification number 517 305 542 and telephone number +351 926 057 054, hereinafter referred to as “The VOG Closet“ and the people who wish to make purchases through the online store www.the-vog-closet.com, hereinafter referred to as “user”.

The parties agree that purchases made through the online store www.the-vog-closet.com will be governed exclusively by this contract, excluding any conditions previously available on the website.

OBJECT

The purpose of these general sales conditions is to provide and define all the information necessary for the user regarding ordering, selling, paying and delivering purchases made in the online store www.the-vog-closet.com

These conditions regulate all the steps necessary to place the order and guarantee the follow-up of this order between the contracting parties.

REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE

Registration on The VOG Closet website is free.

The user must fill in all fields of the registration form on the website and provide complete and accurate information.

You are responsible for any consequences of incorrectly providing the information provided, particularly billing and shipping details.

The user must be over 18 years of age.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The VOG Closet reserves the right to suspend, without prior notice or compensation and without liability, access to the Website, temporarily or permanently.

The VOG Closet does not guarantee that the Website will function without interruption.

The VOG Closet is not responsible for the misuse by third parties of the User Name and/or access password and its possible consequences.

The VOG Closet also reserves the right to make corrections and changes to the Website without prior notice and does not guarantee that all information published on its Website complies with the legislation in force in the user's jurisdiction, except the territory of Portugal and, when applicable, from the European Union.

DESCRIPTION OF ARTICLES

All articles presented on this website are described as accurately as possible. Users should read the aforementioned article descriptions as carefully as possible and, if they have any questions, they should contact The VOG Closet via email: geral@the-vog-closet.com or via chat.

Due to the type of computer used, color settings, Internet browser or others, the colors shown in the photographs on this website may differ from the actual colors.

The VOG Closet cannot be held responsible for such differences.

ORDER

The User places their order by completing the purchase process presented in the online store www.the-vog-closet.com, adding the product(s) or service(s) they wish to order to the shopping cart:

To send your order, the User must:

Complete the information and choose the options that are available to you throughout the order completion process (delivery and billing address, shipping method, payment method, as well as the NIF and name that, for tax purposes, you want to appear on the invoice).

The final confirmation of the order by the user is equivalent to full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale as well as these General Conditions of Sale, which will be the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.

The VOG Closet will honor orders received online only up to the limit of available stocks. If the product is unavailable, The VOG Closet undertakes to inform the user as soon as possible.

The data contained in the invoice is the sole responsibility of the user. The invoice once issued cannot be reissued with changes.

Order requests are valid for 15 minutes (fifteen minutes), and it is not possible to guarantee prices, discounts, promotions and offers beyond this period. If payment is not received by our services within the aforementioned period, the order cannot be validated. Any amount received after this date will be refunded or used for a new order.

PAYMENT

The VOG Closet , in its online store, offers the user the following payment methods via EuPago – Instituição de PayPal Lda:

In the case of payment by credit card, the debit will be made to the user's card immediately after confirmation of dispatch of the goods. If some ordered products are out of stock, their value will be credited to the user's card after placing the order.

DELIVERY

Orders will be delivered within 24 working hours after placing the order. Delivery is carried out by the carrier CTT.

Shipping costs will be added to the order, amounting to €10.00 for Portugal and €20.00 for other European countries.

PRICES

Prices must be expressed in Euros. As the products for sale in the-vog.closet.com online store are second-hand, they are exempt from VAT.

If there is an increase in the price of any product, the user will be informed immediately and can choose to receive their order (paying the difference) or cancel it.

CANCELLATION AND RETURN

The cancellation or return process is handled on a case-by-case basis by The VOG Closet. The request must arrive in writing to the email geral@the-vog-closet.com, within 24 hours of placing the order, with instructions for canceling or returning the merchandise responded to and defined by The VOG Closet through the same means of communication. If the order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Whenever possible, the return must be made using the same payment method, but if this is not possible, the user must present proof of payment and account or card ownership, so that the return can be made by Bank Transfer.

The VOG Closet undertakes to reimburse the user within a maximum period of 24 hours after receiving the returned merchandise.

Returned products must be in salable condition, that is, in the same condition in which they arrived in the user's hands, without any anomaly or damage, complete and with the seal present on the item (inviolate).

SEVERAL

Users agree that the use of this website presupposes knowledge and acceptance of its General Conditions expressed in this document.

This condition is valid from the date of registration or order/purchase by the User on the website and applies to each transaction.

In the event that one or more provisions of these Terms are withdrawn by legislative, regulatory or court decision, all other provisions will remain applicable.

The VOG Closet reserves the right to modify these General Conditions with a view to improving the services provided and in light of market conditions.

The User, therefore, undertakes to regularly consult this page to be aware of the changes made.

Any refusal to accept the revised terms must be notified to The VOG Closet through Customer Service via email to the address:

The changes will come into effect immediately for all transactions once they are posted online .

This website, its content, its catalog of articles, illustrations, photographs and images are the property of The VOG Closet . It is prohibited to reproduce, display and/or fully or partially exploit the website, its content, its catalogue, illustrations, texts, photographs and images without the prior authorization of The VOG Closet .

This contract is subject to Portuguese law. Any dispute with a user is the responsibility of the Lisbon District Court.
